Lower Dolpo Trek The trails of Lower Dolpo goes over Kaguara La (5,115meters), Baga La (5090 meters) and Numa La (5360 meters), where “La” is Pass in the local dialect, passing the deep blue, crystal clear glacial Phoksundo lake and ends at the village of Juphal. The Lower Dolpo is a minimum 20 days trek and is a relatively easy trail but challenging enough just to make the experience worthwhile. Shorter treks are also available for those with less time and experience and to build the confidence to tackle the full trek on a later date.

The flora and fauna are some of the rarest in the world and you have a higher chance of encountering the snow wolves, Blue Sheep, Mountain Goats, and the ever elusive and legendary Snow Leopard than other tourists or fellow hikers. The pristine and magnificent snow capped mountains, deep gorges and valleys will take your breath away by their calm and unspoiled beauty that has seen eons of human generations awed and humbled by their presence. The trek is a naturalist’s wonderland with human contacts to a minimum and only the presence of nature’s gift to mankind and gives the name “Bu Yul”, the Hidden Land, a true meaning.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel. 1350m

Day 02: Guided tour In Kathmandu Valley. Introduce with all the team.

Day 03: Fly to Nepaljung. Overnight at Hotel

Day 04: Fly to Juphal and Trek to Sulighat. Overnight at Tented camp. 2282m

Day 05: Trek to Shyanta Overnight at Tented camp. 2520m

Day 06: Trek to Shey – Phoksundo Lake. Overnight at Tented camp. 3337m

Day 07: Rest day at Shey- Phoksundo Lake. Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 08: Trek to Baga La Base Camp. Overnight at Tented camp. 3982m

Day 09: Trek to Numa La Base Camp. After crossing Baga La pass. Overnight at Tented camp. 4440m.

Day 10: Trek to Kakar Gumba After crossing Numa La Pass. Overnight at Tented camp. 4209m.

Day 12: Rest day at Dho Tarap. Overnight at Tented camp.

Day 13: Trek to Nawarpani. Overnight at Tented camp. 3475m

Day 15: Trek to Tarakot. Overnight at Tented camp. 2537m

Day 16: Trek to Dunai. Overnight at Tented camp. 2140m

Day 18: Fly to Nepaljung and to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 19: One spare day in Kathmandu.

Day 20: Transfer you to International Airport for your finale departure.
